NOTE: WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT REQUESTS FOR BANNERS AT THIS TIME. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A ROOM TO SET UP EQUIPMENT TO SEW THE BANNERS AND WILL RESUME WHEN THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.
When a member of the U.S. Armed Forces dies while honorably serving his or her country, stateside or abroad, a gold star is placed over the blue star on the service flag to show that the service member has made the ultimate sacrifice.
There is no charge for Gold Star Banners. To request a banner, please send an e-mail to Melanie Norwood Aycock at info@starsofblue.com.
